I guess we should post more riding plans on the blog rather than to distribute them by e-mail, so that we can have also other riders joing us.
Hope you will hit the 20100 km mark this year!mobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15740078823008165116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5730233429051035621.post-88894779540092808642010-01-03T20:19:23.995+09:002010-01-03T20:19:23.995+09:0012,000km is very impressive - my 2009 was less ste...12,000km is very impressive - my 2009 was less stellar- only clocking up about 3,500km Shameful really and a big negativo. There has always been something in the way. I certainly hope to do more this year.

On the positive side I got a lot of new equipment as I tried to maintain the illusion of being a regular cyclist. The Chichibu area was also good for 2009.

I hope you all have a pleasant New Year.Leenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5730233429051035621.post-1123878442965290022010-01-03T18:16:05.350+09:002010-01-03T18:16:05.350+09:00HAPPY NEW YEAR ! from my side as well. Looking forward to sharing many rides again with the happy PE bunch this year.

MvH, indeed you owe the blog many reviews of all those awesome rides you did last year! A Negativo of my cycling year was that there is no natto being served for breakfast at ryokans in Kyushu, but the Positivo was that I did get plenty of it (including my parents' portions) when cycling in Hokkaido.

I still owe the blog a review of my racing and cycling year - will work on this now. I'm a less disciplined writer when work already absorbs so much of my writing abilities/capacity.

One thing must be said though - without MOB (and by extension PE) I would not be where I am today. I would not have cycled 14,000km since last October and I would not be JCRC/Tour du Japon champion. I would probably still be spending 40 mins every Saturday or Sunday on a cross-trainer at Tipness and think I'm in great shape. And would continue to dream of the day when I would have more time to see the Japanese countryside.

Happy New Year to everyone!Manfred von Holsteinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16569864868439666760noreply@blogger.com
