Open edifice of raw, steaming talent that is David Hasselhoff

As we all know, David Hasselhoff, aka Knight Rider is not only a very talented actor and singer, but also an avid bike rider. No I am making that up. But I can find no other excuse to include these brilliant Amazon customer reviews about his "best-of" album. Every word that David H. sings [yet another brillant David by the way, how many are still out there we don't know yet about?] is true. Yes "Je t'aime means I love you". This is true, I can vouch for this. And "Hot Shot City" is particulary good in case you don't noticed yet.

I want to leave the office now and buy it. Or I do zero wedding with no loan.
So many choices. Anyway, god save the turks.

I'm back from my brief trip to the US, but don't see anything new on the blog. I think the David Hasselhoff post (the photo actually) seems to have killed all conversation on Positivo Espresso. I don't see what inspired Michael to post it -- is it a German thing I don't understand?

Or is everyone just in mourning over George Carlin's passing?

Of course this is a German thing. Didn't you know that in 1989 David Hasselhoff was singing in front of 500,000 West Germans his superhit "Looking for freedom" at the Berlin Wall. Which subsequently came down and triggered the end of the cold war and the German unification as 500,000 desperate Wessis were trying to get to the East and escape.

Wait, I am mixing this up. It should read: Which subsequently came down and triggered the end of the cold war and the German unification as fanatic David Hasselhoff fans from the East such as Marek und Juliane surrendered to the inferiority of Western pop culture.
